Beach Playgrounds

One of our favorite places to go spend time is any playground. We have a lot around us, but we do have a FAVORITE. Clearwater Beach Pier 60 playground is wonderful. It was built right on the sand. There are separate climbing/playground equipment areas so younger, smaller children can be on one and older children on another. There is also a huge rock to climb and a spiderweb climbing place.
Your children can play while you enjoy the sounds and sights of the Gulf of Mexico all around you. During the week, the playground is usually pretty empty. If you go on a Thurs., Fri., or Sat. night it will be very crowded. However, there are many more things to do at Pier 60 on these nights. Jack Sparrow is always available for photos, artisans line the pier selling anything from jewelry, to candles, to Gulf photography & posters. You can often see magicians, fire eaters, trick dogs, parrots, etc. You can get an ice cream cone in the Snack shack or pay just 25 cents to walk out to the end of the pier (you can fish there too).
Pier 60 is always a good time, but you can't beat their playground!!!!
