On June 17th we spent the afternoon in the pool. We have a small, above ground pool that is just as refreshing and fun as any other pool. If you don't have a pool you may want to look into a larger inflatable, slip-n-slide, or some cheap sprinklers...
I mixed up a pitcher of sugar free lemonade, lathered the kids with sunscreen, gathered towels and headed to the back yard. We spent the afternoon doing cannon balls, diving for toy dolphins and orca whales, and floating around.
What a great, relaxing afternoon...was even able to do a couple loads of laundry during each "pool break" time when the kids dried off to get another sunscreen application!
